The beautifully furnished West Wing is accessed via an ancient front door from the sheltered courtyard, where a lawned area has garden furniture and barbecue.
Downstairs, the airy entrance hall leads into a large drawing/dining room, bright and functional kitchen, and utility room. The drawing room has Georgian windows sumptuously draped in silk, and large mirrors opposite, illuminating rich blue walls.
Comfortable sofas and chairs provide attractive seating in front of the magnificent granite fireplace. At the other end of the room a good-sized dining table and chairs can be extended for larger gatherings. With interesting original artwork, a splendid slate floor, full bookshelves, sea grass and kilim rugs and plump cushions this delightful room provides a relaxing haven for any season of the year.
On the first floor there are one double (en suite) and two twin bedrooms, the twin rooms served by a family bathroom. The larger of the twin rooms includes a double bed.
Bedrooms are spacious and airy, overlooking the courtyard and moor beyond, or the front lawn of the house. Antique furniture and decorative pictures and mirrors complement the character of the rooms.
