A substantial detached listed house, the earliest part dating from 1530 and retaining some fine stone mullion windows. The west wing of the L-shaped house has a long drawing room lit by four Georgian windows and features a dance floor and large stone fireplace. The sunny morning room in the South Wing similarly features a great granite fireplace and there are slate flagged floors in the hall and dining room.

The newly refurbished custom-made kitchen has a gas range, double butler's sink, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A large dining room/family room leads off the kitchen and features a stone fireplace inset with a wood-burning stove and French windows opening out to a small lawn and sunny courtyard. An additional kitchen and a utility room in the west wing has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer and boot racks. Other facilities include a TV, video and sound system.

Two staircases lead up to the first floor, where there are 3 double and 3 twin bedrooms, three bathrooms and a shower-room. Crisp cotton bed linen and bath, hand and tea towels are provided. Two additional lavatories can be found downstairs, one in each wing. One bedroom has French windows leading to a small sunny balcony overlooking the courtyard.
