Activities and Events

We find that there's a huge range of things people want to do on holiday-from those who just chill out here, to those who want to strike out every day in search of new discoveries and excitement. There's also a huge range of activities on offer. All the pictures on these pages are of our family and our guests and friends indulging in some of those - from sipping wine on the lawn or barbecuing by the river, to riding and sailing.

Whenever we go on holiday, we like to get local knowledge and do the things the guide books generally don't tell you about, and we try to give people the benefit of our local knowledge when they're here. Mostly, you can make your mind up on the day which beach you want to go to, or what other entertainment might be good if the beach doesn't appeal. However, there are some activities you might want to consider booking in advance - or even structuring your holiday around.
